I am going to be a senior this upcoming fall in SHS and honestly I think it is a great school. There are many opportunites and activities to be involved with me personally am always doing something that has to do with school. Compared to how it used to be the administration has improved so much and I can say that the teachers there genuinely care about their students. The only thing I still see as a problem is that students need to fall in love with education! some students get how important it is most don't. Which I believe is connected to how the discipline system has been run in the past years there are many rules but not enough people enforcing them. Now that the new school has been built I expect that it will change even more for the better. It's up to the students to stop having excuses as to why they can't have a great highschool career there and make the best out of what is given to them. All this school needs is a little more support love and people

I believe this school can give kids a great education and a supporting hand to the great students. Teachers and faculty are great and get along like any other school in the districts. I m a student at Southbridge high school and I m proud of the students/ friends by taking advantage of the education they have and moving on with there life to be successful.

I am curerntly a student teacher at Southbridge High School. I was here doing my Prepracticum two years ago and what a change for the better! Southbridge's new administration has given the faculty/staff a better outlook and thus creating a much more welcoming atmosphere for our students. I think Southbridge gives students an abundence of support and the administration is more than willing to lend a helping hand to any student. The resources are there now it is up to the students to act and reach out for any help they may need.

This school can only go up as it has hopefully hit rock bottom being on the state's watch list. The facilty is deplorable w/ roof leaks mold issues long standing airquality issues documented by the MA dph a 30 year old boiler problem was just fixed in this building that mimics the state police buildings blue and aluminum facilty on the Mass Pike. Change is on the horizon with a whole district wide administration change over and the renewed hopes of a new facilty in the years to come. The ratings are for the past administration the new one is less then a week into the job.

I went to Southbridge High school for three years and from my experience it was a very bad school. There were some exceptions but the administration was completely backwards. The teachers could care less about what is in the best interest for the students but more like what will save them time and would be easier for them. So if you are cosidering to send your child to SHS please r3eonsider since I moved I am an honor roll student when I was at SHS I was failing. Consider this.
