This school needs work on its values as a while and communication. My daughter has had over 3 inappropriate incidents happen to her since the start of her school year. The things that have happened and been said to my daughter at this school and shocking!!!! I can't beloved that as a parent I don't get too be invoked in knowing how the situations are dealt with. I don't get too have any communication with the other parents. My child is going to school and being involved in things that she should never be exposed to. And when I speak with the principle he says he will deal with it and thats all it get. So I have to make my child be put in a class with a teacher that had no ideas what's going on in her class because their are took many kids in one class with not enough help out. Or the teacher doesn't have the structure to deal with what comes up in the class. I feel bad for my daughter and odd pot in these situations that no kindergarten child should deal with!!!

This is a great school. The Principal is attentive and present. The front office staff and support staff care about families and students. My son has been in kindergarten (2 teachers 18 students!) and first grade at Center and we couldn't be happier. One of his kindergarten teachers has been a teacher for 20+ years and his 1st grade teacher for 15+ years. I have a background in education so I am a very choosy parent! I love that the school is small and not overcrowded. Students are known by name not just a face. I wish parking wasn't such a nightmare and there was more parent involvement to help the PTA but what happens inside the classroom is what counts and it is because of Center that my child is excelling above grade level and also thinks that school is FUN!

Overall I really like the school. However since the school is no longer on Travis AFB the school is not doing as well as it once was. This has been happening over the past few years. This is the third year it is not on base. They have a lot of new teachers who are fresh out of school which can be a bad thing in some cases. I prefer a school that has seasoned teachers. I do like how the classes sizes are not as big as other schools in the area.

This school has thrived and grown under the excellent leadership of Principal Pat Zetah. She is very hands on in her leadership style. The students are very diverse and the teachers care about the success of their students. I am impressed at how the arts are integrated into the curriculum. I will be sad to leave this school.

Center had a nice Arts program. The music program is only available to your child if they are old enough. There are just a few great teachers at this school. No discipline for trouble makers. Finances are not the problem at this school!

My son is in the Creative Arts Program for Kindergarten students at Center. He loves school and is excited to take part in school activities. Even though the school operates on a tight budget the staff excels at making the students feel comfortable and not feel the strain of a monetary deficiency. Kudos to the staff!

My kids went to Center until we moved out of state two months ago. I'm really glad to be at another school. Center seemed more concerned about if they were going to get the money for the student being in class rather than the education and well being of the student. There were a few teachers that really did take the time and show a genuine interest in my children but they were few and far between at this school.

They have an excellent music program. This is the first elementary school that I have seen have a music program so early (my child started playing an instrument in 4th grade). The music teacher is excellent and really goes out of his way to develop the school's program. The principal is okay. Not bad per se but can not compete with a former retired principal that was loved very much by the children. I would also preferred that this principal would at times let these kids be kids for special days such as halloween or valentine's day. Most of the teachers that my daughter has had over the past six years have been great with the exception of two. Overall good experience.

I have 3 children who have attened Center School for the past 3 years. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences that we have been a part of. All of staff members at Center School are wonderful. The PTA is wonderful always looking into different ways to help raise money for our school.
