My daughter attends 6th grade at this school. The area it is in does not have a great reputation but if you see past that part it's wonderful. From the guidence counselor to all of her 6 teachers they are wonderful. They are quick to respond to emails and are willing to help your child catch up on work if your child is absent from school. I have seen the principal at every event and is very kind. I am very impressed with the staff at Graham Park Middle!

I was in the math and science program I loved it the teachers they were kind and respectful signet was awesome. If there was one thing I could change is the student IDs also known as Visa card are the colors for the all A's honor roll sticker.

I think this school use to be a whole lot better based on older reviews. My brother recently graduated high school and is attending college currently at ODU and previously went to this school and the teachers were a whole lot better. I'm in the 8th grade and I think some of the teachers could be a lot more encouraging and patient with the students. There seems to be a lot of fights between students at Graham Park and the administrators punish them appropriately. The students are a bit out of line though there are large amounts of students that are very rude and disrespectful but overall the school is good if you are a student serious about getting an education.

Thought this school was good until my son got DISCIPLINED by Mr. Anderson. He entered GPMS school an Honor Roll Student and left with D's and an F in PE. They talk about working with parents but do not practice what they preach. This school has not been a school of excellence for quite a while and now I know why.

This is my daughter's first year at GPMS in the Math and Science Program. Most of the teachers are great about communication especially when you sign up for the School Fusion. I receive a daily email on what assignments are due and any announcements from the school. Yes the school is not in the best neighborhood but the security system works. There has never been an incident at the school due to the lock downs. There are students who transfer to this school specifically for the Math and Science Program. My daughter and I both love it. The administration is on top of things. The school offers many clubs with activity buses to get the kids home after the normal school buses. Is it perfect? No. There are some teachers who are not my favorite but you have that at every school. I would recommend the Math and Science Program and I'm happy my daughter is attending it.

My son's first year here and his teachers have been a little lacking where communication is concerned. Also there have been 3 school lockdowns due to criminal activity in the area since the beginning of the year. Nice that the school takes precautions but I do worry a bit about the area in which the school is located.

Both of my children attend Graham Park Middle School. The faculty (administrative and teaching) are fantastic. They are driven to provide a great safe learning environment where the kids feel very comfortable. For my youngest who needed some special attention her guidance counselor worked with her allowed her to advocate for herself coordinated with all her teachers and kept us in the loop as parents. We are absolutely thrilled with how engaged the faculty is with our kids and it really shows in their grades and how happy they are to attend Graham Park. Graham Park is a Math/Science specialty school and their reputation is growing... we have noticed a lot of kids choosing Graham Park over their home middle schools. A testament to the hard work the faculty puts into making this a great school.

A great school with an excellent faculty! The teachers and the principal in this school are absolutely top-notch. Rather than make excuses as to why they are not a "Recognized" school by Virginia standards...the staff just continues to work and excel at making the school the best for the students. We could not be happier with Graham Park Middle School.

Math Science Program is great and has diversity. Mrs. Abrams and Mrs. Marr are great 6th gr. Math Science teachers. I wish they traveled to the next grade.

The principal and assistant principals are great and run a tight ship with difficult kids to deal with

The principal has done a commendable job with discipline in the school. However teacher quality leaves a great deal to be desired.

I am a student of Graham Park. I am in 8th grade. In 8th grade at GP they dont give u teams but give u things like High School classes to help students to go High School. And their no bully rule is very strict and they are very serious about this rule. There has almost never been any fights and i strongly recomend this school

Enthusiastic teachers and superior administrators make Graham Park a real jewel of education in Prince William County. Band director is remarkable.

Principal Anderson is awesome he instills respect with huge emphasis on NO BULLY tolerance policy. He is always there even in the late evening at the end of extra curricular activities and always with a smile and a hello. Teachers are great too; if you have an issue - JUST COMMUNICATE and they are happy to assist; advise and propose make up work or tutoring. So far a wonderful two years. Thanks!!

I was worried when my daughter first started this school. We have had such a wonderful two years! I attribute that to our Principal Mr. Anderson. He is great! Denise Duncan

Great principal who instills treating everyone with respect to achieve success! From the staff to the students GP has reached greatness. You could not find more caring teachers/coaches if you tried!

This school has a great principal. She was Principle of the year for the state of Virginia this year. She has great leadership and the teachers and children respect her as well as the parents. My son couldn't have had a better and safer environment to learn in the past 3 years. I have 2 other children left to attend and I hope Ms. Darlington stays and guides them through their middle school experience.
