I used to teach special education classes at Manzo elementary. It is a wonderful school that is an important part of the community. The special educaton team is the best I have worked with. The school counselor is innovative and an incredibly positive influence on the students and the community. Manzo elementary is like an extended family for the students in the community.
Manzo is a caring community school with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The school's academic focus is the environment and sustainable ecology. Through the efforts of staff students and parents it has developed a water harvesting project and beautiful desert friendly gardens.
Manzo is a community of students parents professionals support staff (inclusive of monitors volunteers office maintanence & cafeteria staff) who believe that their learning community is one in which everyone works together & everyone does their best!
My children adore their school and the staff and teachers go above and beyond for the students. The principal Mr. G. is gracious and very hands on...I wouldn't have my children go anywhere else.
