The faculty tries hard to create a warm environment but there is a corresponding lack of discipline and a tolerance for nasty behavior that occur far too often.
My daughter was failing at another Yeshiva. When we switched our children to Shalom she became a motivated high performer. Our son also did extremely well at Shalom. I cannot say enough about this school where the principal and staff are dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. I only wish Shalom had a high school so they could have continued there.
I sent 5 children to this school and all did very well. The teachers are kind and patient and recognize that each child is different yet capable of learning. My children have done extremely well on standardized tests which I attribute to the quality of the education at Shalom.
