St. Michael's is a wonderful school with very strong leadership and dedicated teachers. Parents should be aware that the school is distinctively Roman Catholic which may attract some and discourage others. Although I have not seen any evidence of undue pressure on students attendance at mass and participation in Catholic prayers is mandatory. As a ministry of the Roman Catholic Church St. Michael's is certainly well within its rights to have these requiremeents and faculty and staff are very open about the requirements. The school is sound academically and would be a great choice for local Roman Catholic families. The teachers and staff are supportive professional and approachable. They are great folks. As evangelical Protestants however we have been and continue to be somewhat concerned about the effect of the difference between some of what our sons are learning at St. Michael's and what we teach them at home.
