Great school!!! Teachers and assistants at this school go the extra mile. My child is doing great.

The administration is a mess! They do not have regular hours and there is no accountability. I paid over $600 per year in material fees but failed to see any new resources in the classroom. If every child is asked to pay this amount you would think that they would at least have one computer per classroom but no they do not. Furthermore the adminstration ask parents to pay $15 per person for Christmas shows every year. Who ever heard of a private school asking you to pay to see your child perform?

Great School! My son was not getting along with the kids at his day care and the moment we put him in Pizarro we saw a dramatic change. Very Pleased....

My son is completing his first year at Pizarro School and we are very happy with his teacher the staff and the school as a whole. We have already registered him for next year and are excited about continuing his Montessori education. FYI . . . we researched the schools in the area and Pizarro School had the best value overall. The classrooms are big the student to teacher ratio is excellent (my son's class has 2 teachers and 25 students!) and they have plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around.

My daughter attended 2nd grade at this school. What a disaster. The Director's if you can call them that had no idea what they were doing in order to help my daughter and her disabities. I took her to another Montessori school nearby half way through the year and I am so glad I did. What a difference.

I'm very pleased with the school ... the teachers and staff are awesome. It is like one big happy family and my son is learning so much. They have made me a true believer in the Montessori Method - and in the Pizarro School overall.

The Pizarro School environment is friendly and warm. The Director and the school's administrative team goes 'over and beyond' to ensure that the school and its programing is well organized efficient and quick to address the needs of its parent and student base. It is no mystery why Pizarro School has scored so well on various state and local level student assessments. Viva Pizarro School!

I question the motivation of the individual that entered the March 10th posting on this site. Before I go any further let me start with 'the proof is in the pudding'. Pizarro School ranked number one in all of Miami-Dade County by scoring the highest possible score in the Florida VPK school readiness assessment. Furthermore it is obvious to the critical eye and ear that the individual's sweeping broad generalization is in and of itself lacking tremendous credibility. Such anonymous baseless and groundless commentary about Pizarro School unfairly undermines the hard and genuinely compassionate work of one of the finest groups of educators Miami-Dade County has to offer. Shame on this person their bad faith and their review of this school.

I question the integrity and qualifications of the teachers and administration

I can say only wonderful things about this school. My son started school for the first time last year and he adjusted very well. My 2 year old daughter started this year and she loves going to school and loves her teachers. My daughter's attitude has improved a lot and I owe most of it to this school. The teachers are very caring and loving with the students as well as the administration's staff. Overall I'm a very happy parent cause I know my children are happy attending Pizarro Montessori School.

My child was shy and exhibited a little stage fright when presenting at shows in her previous school. Since she started Pizarro she is much more social has no fear of performing she learned to read prior to age 4 she loves school she's more independent and most importantly she is HAPPY. The teachers at Pizarro are spectacular. They are experts in their areas of teaching and very nurturing. The director and his support staff are very kind honest and understanding people. They are always willing to listen and work with parents to ensure that the children are getting all that they need to be comfortable well rounded and educated. I can't picture my daughter going to school anywhere else.

Being a single parent I'm happy to have made the decision to place my daughter in the Pizarro School for Montessori Learning. This school has an exceptional curriculum. The teachers are certified professionals caring and discliplined which has been instrumental in the increased self esteem and intellectual level of my child. I know that my daughter's first educational years in this school will make the necessary impact in her future. My gratitude to this shcool cannot be measured. Highly recommend this school

My son started at the Pizarro School this year and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. I did my research and this school was the only one in the neighborhood that had everything we were looking for -- Montessori certified teachers plenty of playground space and a curriculum that included enrichments like art music and Spanish. They also have computers and French! They have after-school classes (like ballet and music) on-site too which is great because I won't have to drive around as much. I don't agree with the other parent that said it was overpriced. It is VERY reasonably priced especially when you consider all that they provide. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Plus the place is very clean. It is a great school and I have no reservations about recommending it to anyone.

Love the teachers. Overpriced! Classes are not properly balanced.

Not what is used to be. The teachers are good but lack support. The playground is new but not conducive to child play.

I rate the school and teachers as good. They are mostly helpfull and encouraging.

I had my child registered in a montessori school down the street and pulled my child out. I have my child in this school and am very pleased. My 2 years old speaks in full sentences knows all the colors and shapes as well as ABC's. The toddler teachers (2) for (1) one class are both certified Montessori and there is also an assistant. The staff is loving and caring and gives that special touch to every child. The extra programs that they offer at no charge are great from before/after care to art/music/sports/spanish etc. This school is very well rounded - When my son becomes old enough I will register him as well. This school is far above the other Montessori schools in the area. Way to go.

I have researched Montesori Schools through-out miami. I find this Montessori school very well rounded. From the director to the teachers. You know when you send your kids to this school they are going to get a great education. This school is an A+ school in my book.

Excellent. So good that we now enrolled our second child in it. Our older son has been going for 2 years and his results are amaizing. We are very sure that this has to do with the Montessori method itself and the very close eye that the staff keeps on maintaining these traditional methodology. We researched a lot on montessori schools before finding this one in the area where we live. The school has been around for over 20 years and the staff's turnover is very low. Things to take into consideration teachers years on the fields management commitment to the Montessori education and of course the particular opinion of the your own kid. Our son loves his teacher and has progress big time. At 5 years he knows how to read write and count up to 1000. We are very happy.

I put my son and daughter in this school this summer. They had a blast but they also came home everyday with something new they learned. I am impressed that all the teachers are certified and so are the assistant's. They are very diversed with music dance sports. And on the avergage all of the 4 year olds know how to read and do simple adding and subtraction. This is a school to send your child to. With a loving and caring director and staff.
