This school I honestly think needs to get there facts straight. I was a student there and was always in trouble for being just a witness to events. Mrs White and Dr Jeuell never even care to listen to your explanation about any situation and immediately resort to suspending anybody involved. Mr Jackowski and I got along much better then the others. Few teachers like Mr Eppolito and Mr Bortnicker were actually outstanding teachers and unfortunately Mr Bortnicker retired. He was always very understanding as a guidance counselor and actually LISTENED to what i said. Other than that I might have to shake my head at there disciplinary system.

When searching for my teacher for the 08-09 school year i came across this web site. I am a student at Springton Lake and i do speak very highly of it. Most of the administration is excellent and the teachers are very down to earth. I felt that the mathematics curriculum is okay but definitly can be worked on because if you are not accellarated in elementary school it is very hard to do so here. If you are coming from a different school it is very easy to get friends and have fun here. For these reasons I rate Springton Lake Middle School Above the Average Middle School.

Academics at this school are a priority but I wish I could say the same for their dedication to extra-curriculars more specifically the swim team. The pool has been out of commission for 2 years with no obvious plans to repair it in the near future. This is definitely a hardship!

I think this school is grand. The teachers are very knowledgeable and courteous.

Springton lake along with Penncrest High School in my own opinion have one of the worst sports program around! my 13 year old daughter is on the 7th grade basketball team with 27 kids on the team and they need to share uniforms with each other due to not enough uniforms. ALso the school cannot afford busing for some of the sports which leads to cutting one sport per sports season if you ask me this district is going down to tubes.

Springton Lake Middle School has a lot of hard-working teachers that are always trying their best to make this school a better place. There are many assemblies that teach the kids about bullies (which this school does have and every other school has them too) nutrition friendship drugs and many other highly valuable concepts and ideas needed for the future. Most of the kids at SLMS are hard-workers do well in all their subjects make and keep their friends and have an open mind. There are some though that do lower the confidence of others but they are really proving to others and themselves that they have no self confidence. The Art program here is wonderful and the music departmart is even better. Homework helps the students tremendously. School food is okay but that's normal (chik-fil-a days are wednesday. yum!). This school is great for everyone. It will help you in every way!
