There is no effective leadership at this school. They are between principals right now and the vice principal is not an effective leader. I believe he lacks communication skills appropriate to whomever he is speaking to- students staff parents. There is not a teamwork atmosphere in the building- there are a lot of little cliques which is very unprofessional. There are some good teachers there that your child would be lucky to get. There are also some teachers that I would never want my child in their class because they gossip lack classroom mgmt. lower student self-esteem by talking down to students & just complain all the time about their job. There is not much communication with support staff who aren't made to feel like they are as important as the faculty.

my school is awesome. I like the time I spent here. As time goes by my childhood memories will increase as so my vocabulary and learning skills improve. I hope to cherish what I have learned and continue the following year in academic studies.

A great community school led by principal Mrs. O'Leary. Great concerned teachers and staff. Students that want to learn. Caring involved parents. Keep up the good work everyone. ' Go Lions Go ' Robert Grover

After reading the last review I feel compelled to write and say I completely disagree. They have an up to date technology program and computer lab laptop stations in 4th and 5th grade and every classroom has between 2-4 PC computers that are internet accessible. They are also wireless. I am impressed with the work that is done with technology and how confideant my child is on the computer with powerpoint internet searches typing word etc. True this school doesnt have accelerated reading but neither do the other elementary schools in the district. The teachers are kind and dedicated. They took an interest in my child even when they were really sick and in the hospital. They are like an extended family. I totally trust their judgement and appreciate their professionalism.

To be honest Davis school is not the most advanced school my child has attended during our moves in the Military . I felt that they lack in technology space how they handle disciplnary actions towards bullies but also in their teaching abilities. I do know that last year his teacher not only managed to bring my son's grades down but also his self-esteem. I know some feel that Davis is a warp back in time but in this day and age our children need to be ahead of the curb. Davis does not even have in-school programs such as Accelerated Reading Math Science Study fieldtrips or Writing. There isn't even importance on computer skills which is serious considering how important technology is not only now but in their future if they want to succeed. I am worried how far behind my kids will be when we leave here educationally and emotionally.

Omg..What a great school. Dr Belli the principal has this school formed into a family! The teachers are so dedicayed and it shows. I pay for my kids to go here over 11 000 a year because we are out of the district . Thats how good it is and I live in Council Rock District which is supposedly'better' the school Davis is like a timewarp back to the 1960's teacher dedication and classes that I remember with modern books computers etc. Its just a great experience . Our children go to school early and want to stay late! that says it all. Martin Morley ..Thank you Dr Belli & Centennial Sd!

My children are military. This school is way way above their previous school. My only problem is that the teachers don't communicate with parents often enough. The school is a good size with small classes.

This school is mediocre in performance and teaching staff. Medical confidentiality is completely disregarded within this school district. If you have a child with a lot of energy this school is not for him or her.
