This school had a great principle who took charge of situations so the school was safe. We have a new principle who puts situations to the side and does not know the kids like the old principle. One thing I can say positive is the teachers are great they know how to control their class and teach all the students.

I find General Herkimer to be an adequate school. Their range of teahers goes from very good to just O.K. I like their academic programs the seem to prepare students well for when they move on. I don't hear much about extracurricular activities so I don't know how to rate them. Parent involvement is about average.
