California Standards Test (CST)

In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

it may not be the fanciest or best school period but this school gave me a second chance at a great education...when the napa and richmond school districts said no..peoples said yes...my grades were stellar...the students really were good kids and the staff was AMAZING....i went from some ex gangbanger to a (now) tech genius...and peoples was that push that i desperately needed

We have kids with really hard lives kids who have slipped through the cracks kids who have decided it is time to do what is necessary to graduate and a staff who loves these kids and gives them an education and the TLC some of them are missing in their lives.
