Sacred Heart High administration is more worried about the length of your hair and socks than education. The administrator is an extremely unhappy person and it radiates throughout the school. Most students parents and teachers dislike her. Many of the good teachers have left because of her. The education there is a lower standard than it has ever been and the act scores compared to the public school confirm that.

Wow. To whom it may concern 'competitive' is not spelled with a 'D' and you misspelled 'yearn' as well. Sacred Heart is the best Ville Platte has to offer and the high school faculty especially the math and science department and a select few English teachers are very good teachers. Tuition is cheap but many of the people in the town are unwelcoming to newcomers. Good luck!
Sacred Heart High School is a great school for ALL races! We are a great school and community! We are like one big family! We love everyone!
Sacred Heart High School is an excellant choice for any parent that yarns for a small private school with a compeditive tuition scale. SHHS has a dedicated staff of teachers that strive to meet student needs. While there are few teachers with advanced degrees all the teachers are dedicated educators. Some parents may feel that privileged students are 'coddled' but on the whole I believe that any student who seeks help in academics will find the teachers very helpful. While SHHS does have a compeditive athletic program the size of the school and the amount of tuition charged does hamper the success of the athletic program. I am a former student and I have put children through Sacred Heart Elementary and Sacred Heart High.
My parents arent 'uppidy' and I made it through the school as a successful athlete and somewhat successful student. Academics was never my strong point. It is true that some of the students there think they are better than others and teachers often play favorites. Football baseball and softball are the focus of athletic activities. However I remember the band doing quite well in their competitions. I definitely recommend this school if you can afford it.
Sacred Heart is the best school around Ville Platte there is no bullying.
Shhs is a pretty good school. If your great in sports and if your family is uppity your child will do fine.
Sacred Heart has a wonderful academic program that is if you are priveledge enough to get an educator who cares about and understands his or her subject. SHHS has a wonderful group of willing children that make up their band. The sport activities dominate the school (literally). The bullying problem in the elementry has gotten so out of control in the past few years that many children have left our school and some have even left the state. It is a wonderful school if your child can make the cut!
Sacred Heart High School is a really high ranked school in my perspective. The administration is determined to give every student the full attention that they deserve. SHHS is really dedicated to education the Roman Catholic faith and athletics.
