This school facility is nice the teachers are nice and seem to care. My daughter started this school in the 4th grade (its been 4 months) weve already had lice 3 times and all the parents are telling me this is their 20th + time treatingTHEIR childrens hair this school thats a problem (they dont send out notification that a child had lice in the classroom and they dont do lice checks the 1st time i told the office my daughter had lice they called in one kid who had been with my daughter the day before they saw she had eggs but didnt see a big in their quick 1 minute look and sent her back to class with an All-Is-Ok mindstate). 4th grade has 5 teachers each having a different subject no homework is given which makes is EXTREMELY difficult to know how your childs doing until you get report cards. My daughters grades have dropped since being in this school and 2 teachers called me to let me know but didnt have any course/plan of action to bring them up. I tried contacting office/teachers for tutoring in DECEMBER...its not APRIL nothing has been arranged yet despite my numerous talks with her teachers. School offers music P.E. computers library once a week.

We are pleased with this school. My son looks forward to school. The principal is friendly and positive. He relates very well with kids. There has been some awesome facility improvements over the past two years with a new p.e. facility (gym) enlarged library and new classrooms. I have also noticed lots of innovative technology being used in the school. My son's teachers have been kind honest and fair. 3rd grade classes are self-contained and 4th grade classes begin changing classes. I would like to see 4th grade self-contained as well because I feel that this age benefits more in a self-contained setting. My son did not fair well changing classes-trying to keep up with five different teacher's assignments etc. Three suggestions keep 3rd grade self-contained (don't ability group for math etc. because kids pick up on this); Keep 4th grade self-contained; offer enrichment for all kids not just GATE students.
