    It is a great school in a small community that cares about its kids! Parents are involved kids are engaged and we're proud of what we can create if we put our mind to it!

    This school has an excellent academic program. They are quick to address any indications of academic difficulty before it becomes an issue. The special educators are well trained and maintain open communication with students and parents. This school has an SLP on staff to work with students in a one on one basis. There is a full time music program available and students in 4th-6th grade can recieve individual music lessons at no charge. The art and language programs are of the same high standard. French is started on the kindergarten level and continues through 6th grade. There is an afterschool program offered on site at a reasonable rate. WES has a high level of parent involvement and communication lines between staff and parents is promoted. WES maintains a strong community relationship; enabling students to visit and learn about local businesses and help with a community garden.
