this school does NOT protect their students from bullies. This school district has disrespectable students that have no respect for authority. My daughter had perfume sprayed on her in class and on the bus and was picked on to the point she had a panic attack and inhalation damage from the perfume. Horrible school AVOID this school.

My daughter has been an "A" average student since starting this school. I think they are providing a great education for those that are willing to work for it. I wish there were more extra curricular activities though. Also we despise the dress code. This year they decided that there wasn't enough money for substitutes so teachers are getting pulled from their prep time. That is a concern for me. I agree with a different reviewer regarding the bathrooms. They stink!

I don't really think this school is right for my son because they don't take care of the kids who bully my son and they don't really clean the bathroom smell and they don't upgrade this school so almost everything outside is rusty which is unsanitary for kids they also need to pay attention to the kids a whole lot more then fights wouldn't be going on so much and the school would have a whole lot less of pain diseases & germs going around.

While I was in the military my children had the opportunity to attend one of the top school districts in California. My son was a straight 'A' student there. This is his first year at this school and while his grades are good he brought home an 'F' on one of his progress reports and has two 'C's' on the year. I figured it as him having some difficulty adjusting. He has made many friends but apparently since we are not christians in this community he gets harassed about going to hell. This has been happening all year and he finally told me today. He has excellent teachers at this school and when I approached the staff about what he told me it was responded to sincerly and swiftly. He just wishes that the students were culturally diverse and open minded enough to understand that not everyone holds the same beliefs.

My daughter is going to this school from a different state. She has been treated very well. She adapted most definitly! Thank you teachers and staff for making this a good experience. I disagree with the other parent. This school has way more extra-curricular ativities than her other school. We love it here!

On the whole the school is great there are not enough extra curricular activities. The special education is severely lacking for students with emotional disturbed disabilities and tends to be disorganized in the special education department.

Westside has a very young Principal that we as parents worried would not be good. He is great!! He has control of his school. Though he is thought of as being tough he is great. I am proud of our school and its staff.
