Warren Area Elementary Center would probably be a decent school if they focused less on being an extension of the Warren County Children and Youth social services agency and more on being educators. Little to no homework has been sent home all year despite the school having below-average academic achievement in ALL subjects compared to other PA schools. Instead we receive things like an advertisement flyer from Warren Children & Youth seeking foster care parents. Considering Pennsylvania's invasive school policies related to social services I can't say we're shocked. Academics is really an after-thought here we will soon be seeking a better school.
