Stuart Hobson is a wonderful school. The students are involved in wonderful music productions hands-on education is evident in nearly every discipline arts education is also a focal point and the students are very responsible. The school year seems to end with out of town overnight trips for interested students. A few years ago students went to Costa Rica and the Grand Canyon last year Space Camp and this year Canada. The administration is also awesome. Unlike many DC middle schools SHMS lacks the chaos expected from students within this age group. The principals do not tolerate student nonsense. Students feel safe and parents are comfortable leaving their children there. This school is highly recommended!!

Awesome school. Principal Eatman and his teachers are doing a fantastic job. They really care about the students and they do an excellent job of going the extra mile to ensure that the kids are receiving a rigorous and quality education.
