Jefferson Elementary School

Jefferson is really a part of our neighborhood and our community. The teachers all get involved in community service activities and join the kids at their 'extra-curricular non-school related' events. It's been such an awesome safe loving/caring place for me to have my kids at for the past 4yrs. They would make such great use of this contribution.

There is such a sense of community love and support!

I love Jefferson because of the GREAT communication...they make it a point to inform the parents with all their moves...I especially love how my sons teacher keeps me posted on his progress. He lets me know of any issues before its too late!! Great Work Jefferson.

Jefferson creates a unique environment for the students and the parents. My child loves going to school and has for the past 5 years! She even goes to summer school because she loves learning. Beyond the great teachers and staff I must comment on the music and arts. It brings all of us joy to see the children expressing themselves through art and music. Playing instruments singing doing plays and creating works of art has made them well-rounded chilren. This is a special place that fosters special children.

A nurturing environment for young learners my daughter's journey has just begun and her excitement to learn has grown with each day at Jefferson elementary.

It's a small neighborhood school which i much prefer. The staff is always no nice and friendly. There isn't a time when I'm dropping off my kids that I don't see happy kids or smiling staff. The staff works really hard on making sure the kids get the best education they can. Mr Siedel is amazing! He is such a hands on kind principle. Really there for parents and staff!

Jefferson has a very attentive group of teachers.They provide alot of individual attention to students. The principal is very approachable and supportive of the faculty.

It's a wonderful community with involved loving parents and teachers. The school is one of two in Wauwatosa that has early childhood education classes for children with special needs. Jefferson's principal excels at what he does leading the school and teaching tolerance acceptance and kindness with humor and warmth. We could not be happier with our experiences at Jefferson. My children LOVE going to school.

Jefferson Elementary School has been a blessing to our daughter who needed special help that she couldn't get through the MPS system.The teachers at Jefferson really care about our kids and go above and beyond our expectaions. Jefferson gets my 5 star vote.

Jefferson Elementary is a very family oriented school and supports the success of all students. The high parental involvement rate makes Jefferson feel like its own community. The time the principal takes to be involved in the classroom is admirable.
