Being new to the pod system in Pasco County at first I was a little suspect. After 2 years of my daughters attending Quail Hollow Elementary my initial questions or concerns have vanished. The system allows for the children to learn at their own pace while also broadening their interactivity with older and younger peers. My experience with the faculty and support staff has been fantastic. I have to give a great deal of credit for my positive feelings about Quail Hollow to the principle Peggy Lewis. Having watched her interact with the students faculty and parents during school activities I hold her in the highest regard.

Open 'pod' concept not very conducive to learning. Classrooms are noisy cluttered crowded and distracting. Some teachers are very helpful some are quite aloof. Multiple fundraising activities borderline annoying. Music PE and art programs are very good. Parent involvement is minimal due to inflexible scheduling of activities.

It is my view that my daughter is receiving a well rounded education. The teachers not only work with the class but fit in the time to worke on an individual basis with the children in their classrooms. The teachers have also kept me well informed on what is happeing in the classroom and if a poblem ever occurs that are quick to contact me.

I gave QHES the opportunity it deserved. It was my daughter's first year last year. I was welcomed with open arms by the staff and the teachers. QHES made it an easy transition willing to work with my child personally. The PTO is very involved with the school. There are a lot of family events. The principal is doing an awesome job! I would recommend everyone giving the school the great opportunity it is.
