My daughter was overweight when she attended this school and wanted to be in plays and the drama teacher was just nasty as heck toward her. Not much help for my son with diabilities. Alot of inflexible rules for the sake of rules and not for the good of students. I had a total of 5 kids go through various grades and I found the whole district overrated.

I love Peirce because it's all in all just a wonderful and great school. They have really nice and fair teachers and I really think that Peirce deserves to win this money and to be reconized in this kind of way.
It's a beautiful school with good parental involvement. This school is a great choice if your child succeeds academically at a high level. If your child is average or struggling the supports are just not there. All the resources are focused on the bright kids.
This school is good organized well maintained and very well supplied with media and computers. The district has an online program where parents are able to reach students grades and teachers. Teachers are helpful and always come back with the needed answers for parents. It is a well organized school principals and assistant principals are connected and know the kids well guidance councelours too. My son has a very good experience at this school. He is in the gifted program of the district. I like the school and would recommend to a newcomer.
Excellent teachers that really care and take the time to work with the students. They are quick to point out strenghts and weaknesses. As a working parent I am pleased to know my child was in good hands.
Peirce Middle School is a wonderful school. The principal changing should not have had any affect on the childrens learning and based on my kids opinions it did not at all. The teachers are for the most part coopertive with the parents needs and for the most part find time to fit them into their shedule if there is a problem. All 4 of my children have gone through Peirce and have had 3 wonderful years there. The staff is great and they really connect with the kids.
Peirce has fell well below my expectations for a middle school. I have had numerous problems with them in communications whether it be teacher/parent teacher/principal/parent or teacher/teacher on the same team. There is no follow through and I believe they help children to fail not to succeed. I think the constant change of principals has had an impact. They have definitly hurt the learning process of my child. I can not wait until my children are out of Peirce. If I could send them to another school- I would!
This school has the potential to be a leading academic institution. In my opinion the administration does not look out for the best interest of the student.
