My children say that their teachers scream to students everyday. There is no way to communicate with teachers about concerns etc because they do not provide journals communication books and they just ignore emails. It is a very frustrating terrible school. This is the worst school we ever have.

Hillsdale has been a wonderful experience for my 2 children. The teaching staff is a model of excellence. The art music and p.e. teachers also really connect with the kids to make learning fun. There are many opportunities for parental involvement. Parents of younger children can help with centers and k-2 book club where children read or are read to on a one-to-one basis several times per week and parents of older children can help with any number of committees. The school also hosts many fun social events for families. Overall this is a wonderful school with a caring environment and a strong community connection and I am proud to send my children here.

We have only been at Hillsdale 2 years but cannot say enough about the level of care and education the teachers have. They are truly a gift to this school.

Fantastic teachers. Great kids. It's just the kind of elementary experience I hoped my children would have.

I love all that Hillsdale has to offer my children. They have amazing teachers who care about their students and really know them. There is opportunity for parents to be involved at many different levels. My children love going to school here.

As an employee of Hillsdale we have a wonderful staff. Avery active PTO with many wonderful fun and entertaining fundraisers and assemblies they provide for all of us. The principal is great to work with he is very supportive of his staff. Thank you everyone at Hillsdale for a great surrounding to spend every day.

As a teacher that works at Hillsdale I have to say it is one of the best schools in which to work. The principal actually has faith in the people that he hires and so he doesn't micro-manage his teaching staff; the way that so many principals do. In addition he does not put ridiculous policies in place such as limiting quantities of copies or having to fill out P.O.'s to get pencils! Consequently the collegiality and general atmosphere at the school is very positive. He also understands that teachers need to have time to actually work in their classrooms on in-service days. As a staff we often talk about how lucky we are to have him for our boss. The staff at Hillsdale are a very dedicated bunch that put many extra hours in to ensure that the children are engaged and successful in their academic pursuits.

Wow what a school! My daughter is in kindergarden at Hillsdale she comes home every day excited to tell me what happened in school. I feel she is getting a great education and having a good time while doing so. The staff makes it fun!

There are a handful of teachers at this school that should be nominated for the teacher of the year award! Sadly only a handful. As a parent that volunteered on a regular basis it was very disappointing to see and hear how young children are spoken to. It is my assumption that children are suppose to taught education and respect. However outside of the handful of teachers the lack of respect shown by the rest of the teachers the administration and most important the principal are shocking! The administration and principal are unpleasant and difficult to work with.
