I am a parent of an 8th grader who has spent all of his middle school years at Conniston. Conniston is a great school. My son has received a great education there. Our younger son will be starting school there next year. We couldn't be more pleased.

i was a student at conniston and those three years were awesome! i loved the experiences there. Most teachers are wonderful and easy to get along with. Although there is a lot of work and challenges it's all worth it. I'll Always be a BLUE DEVIL!!!!

I have been extremely impressed with this school. The staff and teachers are very involved. The IB program continues to grow successfully. The principal seems to know all her students and has a great relationship with them. New for next year is a PTO parent group for the school which will hopefully create more parent involvement and ways to help the school out with fundraisers. GO BLUE DEVILS!

Conniston Middle School instructors and employees care about the needs of the students and offer tutoring on Saturdays with activites after lessons. It encourages students to go to tutoring. The IB program is also a plus at this school. The enviroment is friendly and organized.

i love conniston middle school!! I am there for only 2 days and its awesume! all teachers are very nice . its also a hard school!!

I had just recently graduated from Conniston class of '09 and boy this school has been a big portion of my life. I was there all three years of middle school. I'm not going to lie but their education is wonderful. Their academics are very very acceptable. I had not missed any honor roll all three years! This school was the first school in the US that I attended. I learned so much! I met a lot of great friends that are truly understanding. However the school in not Perfect. There are Cons and Pros ofcourse. One of the good things is the IB Dual program. It is a wonderful experience they give you a lot of challenges and HS kind-of-like teaching. Con I did not feel very safe at this school. Too many fights and drug related things. Anyhow the school gets better every year. Good Luck at Conniston!

I'm an eight grade this school year and it has been a great school year I'm not upset about anything and the dress code changed by a little and i think that's the best they have done. The activities are fun and the IB program that I'm in is very hard and it has a lot of projects for you to do.

The IB in the school is great. I am one of the students in '08-'09. I love it. It's extremely awesome.

Very diverse society and the kids are very nice. The past should not confuse the present

I am a seventh grade student at Conniston. I have gone to this school since 6th grade and I haven't been satisfied that much. I know almost every child really dislikes uniforms but at Conniston it seems they care more about you being in your uniform then your actual learning. It's so bad that for example if a student doesn't have their shirt tucked in they have to go to detention in uniform on a Saturday. Also almost every time we have lunch we have silent lunch. At many schools lunchtime is the time all the students get to socialize but during silent lunch we may not get up or talk at all. If they catch us talking they give you detention for 2 days. But some good things about this school are that there are many good people that are students in Conniston and the IB program is fantastic.

Conniston has gotten better but stricter. We have a new principal Mrs.Stratos and she keeps everything under control. There are many sports and clubs to join. It is pretty cool. If you don't mind uniforms and rules conniston is a school for you.

Im an 8th grade student at Conniston I have alot of opinions on this school. negative and positive. Well the first thing I want to say is that the only reason why I like this school is because I have met wonderful people there like my friends. But the rest to me is so not cool... Just like other people have said this school is too strict and all that does is prevent students from expressing themselves. We always have limits to every single thing we do. The rules don't really make sence. Ex. Tucking in your shirt. Ok It makes you look professional and prevent people from hiding stuff on their waist for biggies. But either way if a student wanted to bring to school something not allowed he or she will still find a way.

I dislike this school so much they do not give your child a chance to express themselves the tearchers are the strictest people in the world..and you cannot sit with your freinds at lunch why??? I personally hate it

So far so good with Conniston. I was sending my kids to a local Catholic School but felt it was limited in resources (sports band arts academic programs etc)Conniston has it all. My kids love Conniston! Everything is going very very well.I couldn't be more happy with the overall experience and overall quality of education teachers security administration etc.

I feel Conniston is an 'alright' school. The Dual Language class is not what they claim it to be though. She was taken out of that so called 'great' program. I do feel the schools security is good and I feel my child is safe there. I feel the students need to be able to give more input into their class choices. Will see what this year brings...

I worked at Conniston Middle school for about two months last school year and I loved it. All of the teachers are very nice and really care about their students. Once you enter Conniston and have been their for a while you feel like in family. It is a such a small school and everyone is so nice that you feel welcomed and happy working and being a student there.

I go to conniston middle im in 8th grade. the school is decent but some disciplinary ways should be changed for instance we no longer have a ' fun lunch' see they dont allow us to sit with our friends but with our classmates other than that its a great place. but i belive its not the people who work at a school that make it bad it is the students in it that do. overall im pretty happy with conniston as it is now. the teacher in this school really care you can take my word for it. the education might be hard but it is worth while studying it

I am a parent and I teach Math reading and science. Never in my life I had completley seen Connistion like this. Being treated like an elementary school isn't aceptable to me. i mean sitting with your classmates? Insteasd of with your friends? Im sorry but Connistion Middle has turn from an Awesome school to a Horrible School.

Conniston is a wonderful school. It is much better than it is given credit for. Ms. Melius Mr. Santiago Mrs. Gray Mrs. Consuegra and all the other teachers are wonerful. As a student here I am very happy. We do have a bit of homework but all schools do.
