This is my Granddaughter's second year at Rockway and I am very pleased. The teachers and administrative staff are very caring and try to help the student. My Granddaughter is in Special Ed and the the Special Ed coordinator is great. This year they have a new principal and she is wonderful. We had a class problem which she took care of the very first day. When I sent her an email she answered me within a few minutes. Mrs Megias is a very caring person... Mrs Block

This is the worst school . The principal is invisible. The teachers are very rude incluiding the personal in the cafeteria. There are fighting every day inside and outside the school. The teachers don't teach anything. Plese if any parents read this review don't enroll your child here.

I think this is an excellent school. I have two daughters at this school with one just graduating. The staff and teachers are very involved and caring. Their security system is great and I love the way they make all students wear their uniforms the way they are intended to be worn. THANKS ROCKWAY!

The faculty at this school is horrible. Some of the teachers go a whole year without knowing your childs name. I had a situation when I called one teacher to complain about my childs' grade and she insisted that she did not have my child for any of her classes. This was about 3 weeks before the end of class. Can you imagine what kind of attention they are giving the kids when a child that had been her student the whole year round was not recognized?

This is my son's first year in a public school and he is doing much better than when he was in a parrochial school in another state. I like the school security and the way information goes to the parents from the administration. Teachers are committed to education and are very caring . My son likes to go to Rockway. Thak you.

This is the first year for my daughter and she loves going to school. Her teachers keep me posted all the time on her grades. I have seen alot of involvements from teachers staff and other parents. I really like the security in the school. I really appreciate everything everyone does for those kids. Thank you.

Rockway is a great school with great teachers who are fun but they teach excelent.

The school is standard like it's supposed to be. Lots of Security make for disciplining todays youth. But some of the teachers don't do a good enough job of teaching.

Well as a parent of the school I think there are some good things and some bad things. Like one of the good things is the education. I love the fact that my child a student of Rockway Middle is greating a great education. But some of the bad things is that the bathrooms in the school. My child has told me that they are very dirty and there are not taken care of.

Rockway Middle School has a good education plan. Their school activities are schedualed for students well fun. But some of the administrative employees on the building are too tough on the students. And even most of the times on other employees. This school would be the best school to send your child/children. But something must be done on the administrative employees.

I am a concerned parent that has one daughter that is leaving the school to go to high school and one that is entering the sixh grade. I have been very disappointed in my dealings with the principal of this school. When I have approached her about problems she is never availabe and has directed an assistant to help me. Although the assistant principals have tried to help nothing is really done. My concerns about hygiene issuse (the bathrooms) as well as some of the classes and teachers have been all but ignored. Overall I think that there are some good things about this school but it cannot shine with its current leadership.

I feel that the school offers some incredible programs but at the same time it fall short in some areas. I have several real concerns about the school and am unable to meet with the principal about these concerns because she is not often available.
