My daughter was new to this school and I was worried about her fitting in and being up to speed with her classmates. Her teacher was outstanding with keeping me informed and putting my worries to rest. As a parent I was able to get involved as much as possible and the staff was very friendly and professional. My daughter seems to love the school and her teachers. The security is great I love that doors are locked all day long. The only bad thing I can say is staff does not stay out side long enough before and after school to ensure the safety of children with a public park right next to the courtyard I feel it's important to make sure kids get where they need to be safely and that kids aren't locked out before late bell. Other then that great school!

Skyline Vista is a good elementary school. Our children were new this year from another state and they did review their gifted program test scores and made sure our children were learning as they should be. They also recognized within the first month that our then 2nd grader was way ahead of his classmates and moved him to 3rd grade. They have conferences and other meetings a few times a year and we felt like we always knew how they were doing academically and otherwise.
