Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS)

In 2011-2012 Wisconsin used the Wisconsin Student Assessment System (WSAS), which includes the WKCE and WAA, to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in math and reading, and in grades 4, 8 and 10 in language arts, science and social studies. The WSAS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.

This school has excellent staff that are always willing to go above and beyond to see all their students succeed. They also have a wide range of extra-curricular activities. You see the principal out in the hall knowing students by name and what year they graduate. All of the staff are the highest of quality I have ever seen. They also have a wide range of electives for students to choose from as well. The special education program is the best I have ever seen in any school.

The teachers at DCE had such a positive impact on my life that I decided it's what I want to pursue as a career.

Although I truly believe D.C. Everest is an outstanding school on the whole some of the Staff members need to update their mental awareness of modern day problems we are not living in the 70's anymore.
