The Hanlon School is the hidden gem of all 5 elementary schools in Westwood. The class sizes are wonderful! Average size is 17 students. The teachers are AMAZING. Seriously - I have had 3 children attend the Hanlon and while all 3 had very different learning styles all three thrived academically and socially. A review would not be complete without giving kudos to the principal. She is wonderful open and dedicated beyond belief! She ensures that that the school is a safe learning environment and works with teachers students and parents to ensure this environment. She demands that the entire Hanlon treat each other with respect and has a warmth and nurturing vibe that envelopes the school.

Amazing school amazing principal and fantastic teachers...Hanlon is a great community and a great learning community. There is no way to explain how great this school is but it is an amazing experience. We have 3 children that have all had great learning experiences at Hanlon. They teach the children to be true confident individuals. This school is a hidden gem of Westwood MA.
This is a phenominal school. They offer a great after school program with a great director. The teacher/staff are great and care very much about the students
