We have a child who started Broadoaks in 5th grade is now in 8th grade. We also have a child who started the preschool program last year. The quality of the teaching is unbelievable. The teachers have been there a long time which shows how they like being there and feel supported by administration. In parent teacher conferences I can tell that these teachers really know my kids- they aren't just saying standard lines. My younger daughter had a tough transition to school but the teachers were so calm and experienced- you could tell there was nothing she was going to do that they hadn't seen before. My older daughter is learning not only Spanish but also Chinese- the school has a teacher through Whittier College's Fulbright scholarship program. She loves it and wants to keep taking it in high school. They do have a policy that you can't celebate any holidays- even Halloween- in school which I found dismaying. However my kids are so happy there even without those special occiasions. In preschool every kid has one day a week where they are the "focus child" and my daughter celebrates every week when its her day. We moved from another state and I'm so lucky we found this school!

When my family first moved to Whittier we did a lot of research to find the best school for our son. I was a little hesitant on Broadoaks because the teaching style is not the traditional way of teaching. I am now so very happy that we choose Broadoaks for my son. It's a great school. He has grown so much and really enjoy schools. The teachers are amazing. They love what they do and it shows in their teachings and attitude. The staff is so supportive. The ratio between students and teachers is the best! My son is in Kinder and there are 4 teachers to 32 kids! I look forward to our many years at Broadoaks.

As a grandparent I can not say enough of how wonderful this school is. I have two granddaughters attending Broadoaks and I can see how much they are learning and how much they enjoy the school. The entire staff and the children and the parents are just wonderful. They have been attending Broadoaks since they were 3 years old they are now 6 & 8. They have good study habits they prefer going to school then to skip school to see the space shuttle Endeavour! They are smarter than their friends that attend other schools.

Broadoaks is an excellent school and I feel it is worth every penny of the tuition for my two children. We are a recent transplant from a highly-regarded public school and although the public school was decent Broadoaks is the winner hands-down. This school is first rate with its excellent academic instruction with great emphasis in critical thinking and writing the quality of teachers student- teacher ratio and forward-thinking people. A true gem!

Broadoaks is an amazing school. Most teachers have Masters or higher. The teacher/student ratio is great. Teachers are caring and patient. Great faculty. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Broadoaks is Pre-8th grade. Pre School takes students from 2 1/2 years old. We can not imagine our son going anywhere else. I highly recommend this school!

Both our children attended Broadoaks and they assist us (as parents) in establishing a strong educational analytical and supportive foundation for learning. In essence Broadoaks was an extension of our home and our home was an extension of Broadoaks. What a great program teachers and adminsitration ... they really respect value and teach children in books and beyond. We hope that you remain an educational force in our community for years to come!

This school rates very high on my list... It has a high standards for students...Children are encouraged to be outspoken and say how they feel about things...They have a science professor at their disposal and Broadoaks also encourages the arts...During summer Broadoaks has a big acadamy in science art drama and wordworking...The teachers are all very knowledgeable and caring...I wish it went up to 8th grade! I recommend this school to the parent who wants only the best...The parents are very hands on to say the least...I am a fellow parent.
