Arms-Length Transaction
, Page views: 916
An arms-length transaction is when two independent parties (seller and buyer) are each attempting to get the the best deal possible. In this case, the seller is trying to get top dollar for their home and the buyer is trying to get the lowest price possible. The seller and buyer have no relationship to each other and are not involved in business together.
