Moving in and moving out - Resources

Upload Image

One thing to always remember, whether you are buying or selling, is to prepare diligently for your move. Many buyers and sellers get so caught up in the process of offers, negotiations, inspections, and stacks of paperwork that they forget important things like scheduling movers, turning on and off utilities, and officially changing their mailing address with the US Postal service.

Did you know you can officially change your mailing address online now? Many people do not! Forget about waiting in line at the Post Office! You have better things to do with your time.

How about when you finally move in? One thing people often forget to do is to change the locks! You don't know who the previous owner gave their keys to. Get those locks changed, pronto!
