Real Estate Video Podcasts are a cost effective way to maximize a Zillow listing.  Zillow provides a "See additional Web site" link right on the posting page that can be used to link a video podcast to a posting page.

What is a video podcast?

Video podcast (sometimes shortened to vidcast or vodcast) is a way to receive audio and video files over the Internet.

Why podcasting and not a virtual tour?

Podcasts use an audio-based format.  While a majority of your potential buyers can read, most of them choose not to partake in that particular activity.  A podcast can stimulate both the visual and audio senses while getting your message across.  A video podcast allows you to combine photographs, multiple audio tracks and music tracks.

Will more video make a better podcast?

People have very short attention spans, therefore, video podcast should not be longer than 90 - 120 seconds.  The 1st shot is most important.  You have less than 10 seconds to grab your audience's attention.

Do I need an iPod to view podcasts?

No, podcasts are viewable on any computer which can play QuickTime files. Other formats such as Windows Media and Real Media are available.
