Standards of Learning End-of-Course (SOLEOC)

In 2011-2012 Virginia used the Standards of Learning (SOL) End-of-Course tests to assess students in reading, writing, math, science and history/social science subjects at the end of each course, regardless of the student's grade level. The SOL End-of-Course tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Virginia. The goal is for all students to pass the tests.

My daughters class will be the first graduating class at Warhill. The school is absolutely gorgeous! For the most part she has been happy there except for a few glitches as all new schools will have. It is located next to a brand new community college which will be great for students taking college classes in their senior year. The extracurricular activities are strong and the school quickly had school pride and spirit. GO LIONS!!!

Warhill has good technology and excellent tutoring programs but the rules are a little excessive and unessacary...i mean these are young adults not babies!
