Bear grass is a great school it is full of teachers that can educate you then when you fall behind someone is there to catch you and help you
My name is Katie and I am a student at Bear Grass and love my school!!! I would defitnitely recomend this school. We have small classes and have better grades!!! Only two people in my first period class are below and eighty. We have 12 people in my class. 'We aren't the biggest just the best'
This is an excellent school. As a student I have seen first-hand just what kind of things are offered. The teacher gets very involved with the students and even the principal Mr. Hal Davis does. He will come around to the classrooms and tell students what they need to do to prepare for upcoming tests and such. He even has good relationships with the teachers.
I live in the community of Bear Grass and the High School is the heart of the Community. Teachers and the Principal are friends and they do care about the students.
My daughter started BGHS in January 2006 after transferring from a high school in VA. Her grades have improved tremendously. She is presently making A's and B's and it because of the time each teacher give to her and the teaching she receives. I am so proud of her - just wish I had done this sooner in the school year. BGHS - My school is now my daughters school.
I am a senior at BGHS and I think its a great campus to be on. Although we dont have a football team and our school is only 65% high tech we still have a small and concerned community. Too bad I am leaving this year.
I am a student at Bear Grass and I love it there! I wouldn't dream of leaving this place. Everybody knows everyone and with a fairly low class size everyone gets the educational attention that they need. And for the few years I have been here I have not seen or heard of anybody having drugs. I would really recommend this school to anybody who is considering moving to the school district. It may be small but it's better than Williamston High Jamesville or Roanoke!
I love my children attending this school. It provides great leadership and it's almost like a crib for them against drugs and violence as hardly any drugs are knowingly solicited here. It's the ideal school for children and teens I very much admire the community as well as our school.
