My dtr went to this school years ago and my son attended Kdg and now 1st grade here. The teachers and entire staff are concerned with the kids and the principal is very visible accessible and friendly to everyone. Parent volunteers are highly valued and appreciated. I feel my child is safe when I leave him in this private school like setting. Very lucky that my son attends this school and excells here. He enjoys going to school!

This is a great school - second year for letter grade of "A". The staff is the best and are caring for all students. There is no longer a problem with roaches!

THIS SCHOOL HAS ROACHES! Today my bf and I saw roaches alive and dead on the floor. There was at least 20 or more dead 10 alive. In all at least 30. This was in only one area. EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading all of the wonderful reviews about this school and finding out this is an "A" school I was rather disappointed with the system. My son was moved into a new classroom because there was not enough room for him in the one he was originally put it. We had just moved from chicago and my son was having a rough time adjusting to another change after a major one. The first time I recieved a call from the principal the message stated "we do not have behavior issues at this school" excuse me but I'm sure my son was not the first child in the school to act out. After telling the prncpl how hard the change was on my son he was unwilling to accomodate and place him back in the original class his response was "he'll have to tough it out" He was constantly getting in trouble with the new teacher & being sent to principal's office. I had a hard time getting a response from his teacher for a conference I ended up moving out of the district and moved my son to the neighborhood school the teachers response was simply let me make sure you have all of your stuff my son was constantly being labled as a trouble maker here. He's now at WHCS and doing so much better. No "behavior" issues here

I had two children at this school and we were always very pleased. Great school with many great teachers and an excellent principal.

This is the BEST Elementary school. We moved to Lakeland and saw a big diffence in schools. We wish we could move back to Winter Haven so that our son can go back to Chain of Lakes.

This is our first year at Chain of Lakes Elementary. We moved from Mn. in Aug and I have a 3rd grader and one to start in kindergarten next year. I can't tell you how pleased I am with everyone at this school. Anytime I have a question it is answered! My son loves it there and is enjoying school and doing very well! Can't wait for next year! I highly recommend this school and its staff to everyone!

Both of my children have excelled at this school and have both made the honor role where in the other elementary school in which they were enrolled they were just making the grade!

This school is not ESE-friendly. If your child has any type of special needs I would highly recommend you finding another school. We found almost everyone at the school unwilling to work with us and sorely lacking information about how to accomodate a child with autism. We also felt a clear lack of compassion and caring for our child.

This is my daughters 2nd year we really love the staff the way she is taught that they have specials (PE music art) and get to do projects etc. I want to keep here here all through till she moves to middle school!

this school is a safe place when children are away from home.the school is gated and can only be entered through the main office.teachers are very nice and work hard so the children can learn.
