The teachers are exceptional and as a result the school is wonderful. Upper level administration could use some improvement but the education your child will get more than makes up for the poor communication and lack of benevolence. The children are no longer able to visit the farm so I wouldn't consider this when making a decision to enroll your child. The main building where Primary classes are held and the school grounds are stunning while the Elementary School classroom could certainly use some major improvement. If you could overlook Thevenet Montessori School's flaws this is the best school in a 20 mile radius for Pre-School-Kindergarten.
This is a wonderful school in a beautiful building and fabulous staff. The farm makes it even more special for the children.
Also a note of caution there is NO nurse on staff. They must call in someone. So if there is an emergency on the grounds where a few hundred children from the ages of 3 to 8 years old attend school the child must wait for someone to treat or care for them.
this school has inexperienced montessori teachers our first prek year we did not gain anything from the school.
I sent two daughters here from preschool through K and it was excellent. Great people really cared about the kids. Kids loved it too. Turned us on to the private school experience.
