It was my first year at this school and I am very pleased. My children had a wonderful year. The teachers were very involved and communicated wonderfully. I enjoyed participating in parent activities this year and can't wait for the upcoming year. I would also like to commend the reading & speech program. It seems as though they take the extra time to reach each individual child's goals. Very pleased!

I chose this school over Lakeview (where my kids are supposed to go). My kids are very happy there and get the extra help that they need. The teachers are also great and have great communication with the parents. Things have changed a little with the new principle (not as happy with her then I was with Mr Staples for she is not as personable but she gets the job done). I have 3 in Woodlyn now and 1 more to go in about 4yrs!

This was our first year at Woodlyn elementary and I am very impressed with their educational values and life skills program. The principal is very caring and professional. He took the time to provide a us with a tour of the school prior to the start of the school year so that my third grader and kindergartner would be comfortable with their new school. The school invites family members to become involved in the students educational lives by hosting an open house for a couple of hours on the first Friday of each month.
