My brothers and sister & I went to Willow Creek School many moons ago. When I moved back here from Colorado my kids got to experience all the wonderful memories of Willow Creek. They too loved everything about the school. At a Grade School reunion (thanks to facebook!) we all got together to laugh about the past & teachers & talk about Mr. McCarthy the principle. The school has wonderful & caring teachers all the way from the ganitors & the lunch ladies to the principals

I moved to Woodridge back in 2004 and my son came in with ADHD. Unklike the Chicago Schools his IEP was ready when he walked through the door. In Chicago I had to fight for his right to be examined and contact alot of higher ups to complain before something was done. Now my step kids are there and they are moving alon and adjusting fine. Thanks to the staff.

I love Willow Creek School! The Principal and staff are great.. It's a good feeling as a parent when your 8 yr old 3rd grader can't wait to get to school in the morning!! In 2nd grade my son's teacher Mrs. Durkin knew my son was a little above average in reading and on her own time found ways to teach him and help us understand how to at home also.. And even brought the fact of him maybe becoming isolated from his peers to us and ways to make sure that didn't happen..The principal Mrs Sanfilipp and Mrs Durkin took on being in charge of my son's cirriculum from that point on..I have asked friends with children in other schools and most of them say they have never even spoken with their principal..Willow Creek is just such a close school and the parent staff relationship has always been great. I cant wait for my youngest son to start there! )
