The Teachers are fine but the office staff is usually rude and quick with parents. The cannot multitask at all or just refuse to do so.

The school is ok but the "IB" program sometimes is overwhelming. They give some assessments that have no sense or reason other than to annoy the students and parents. As a teacher and a tutor you should focus in the academics and in class work and capturing the attention of the students in positive and fun way and yes inspire them to thrive in and out of school but giving constant essays and assessments specially ones with no purpose other than making things harder is going to make the students dislike the class and school. I would review this process this is a reason of why many teachers disagree with these standards and just follow the rules for a paycheck. Good luck.

This is a great school but it has a few problems. For example the deans are very strict which is a good thing in some parts. But some students are getting bigger punishments than they deserve. Dr. Long's dance program is amazing and so is their culinary art band and chorus programs. The school isn't really a bad place its just some students cause problems.

Parkway Delivers. Every year Parkway Middle School gets better and better. school counts with extracurricular activities as no other so many is hard to choose all nicely organized and instructed. Second year and my kid already knows three different languages. my kid feels safe and happy in this school and all teachers keep good interaction with students and keep daily communication with parents. school informs parents of all afternoon activities. Teachers are like coaches they listen and care about each of the students. Lots of take home assignments and projects but each of them interesting and fun. Not a school just to hang out they mean serious business.

I think Parkway is a great school! I am Havin so much fun there! Parkway does not have a very good reputation and thats why some people are scared of it! I think that once you get used to it you'll be fine! Parkway is a very unique school! But one thing for sure you are never bored! Cynthia

Because the staff works together to make every kid feels special all the time. Special kids make special schools.

Haha this school is the best school ever they just got a new principal and our making their way up to the top even though Parkway doesn't have the best reputation it is overall the best and most fun school I have ever been to. The students our nice and smart and the principal and deans know exactly wha they are doing. This school has free afterschool programs and they support and respect the grounds they work and learn on. You are very lucky if you get to be in a school like this. Have fun and good luck ( -Lindsey H.

Parkway is not the best school it is actuallay the worst. I do not like this school suspension is over the top. I can't belive it. I'm starting to be scared of parkway because of all of the fight and I'm afriad some of my friends are going to be hurt for no reason. The teacher dean and principals should do something about this that is my opinon.

I am very disappointed in this school system. My son graduated in 2007. Communication is poor between the key people of the school (principal and dean). Their idea of correction is removal but we need to remove that what is causing the problems within the children. It takes the teachers children and parents.

PMS is a multi-cultural school with family appeal. I enjoy working and communicating with all of the students. PMS is currently a 'C' school however we are working our way to the top; showing gradual gains in FCAT scores for the prior two years. The 2007-2008 school year has brought about some changes however the faculty staff student parents & community/business partners are working together to ensure a smooth transition. Our No. 1 goal is to become an 'A' school and I believe we are up for the challenge. Last but definitely not least Parkway has 'The Best' DEAN TEAM in the state of Florida.

I love all my teachers. I have all a's and b's my name is dean. I am a 8th grader. I love this school. It has great disciple and excellent teacher. Number 1 school for me and I have been there since 6th grade and the principal miss.Rivers and assistant principle ms.Cavinee are excellent. Evertime I have had a problem parkway and it teachers and staff have been there for me and its is a really safe school. Best school in the world!

Who better than a student herself...I currently attend this school and I feel it has just holding me back....Discipline is rarely enforced and teachers have no boundaries.

There is alot of disciplinary problems in this school most students are focused in how they look then in their education this school has no program that will manage their students behavior. I would not send my child to this school again.

I have two sons who are in Parkway Middle School right now. My youngest is a student in Mrs. Long's Dance Program. He absolutely loves it. I have seen performances by Mrs. Long's students and they are nothing short of an 'Off-Broadway Production'. All of her students work hard and are expected to maintain a level of discipline and hard work. My oldest son who really needs to be challanged has made comments about one of his teachers who seems like she is now getting tired of teaching. My son has complained about the fact that she has gone over material several times and the class understands everything but for some reason refuses to move on. My son describes her class as one of his most boring and she does nothing the excite the class into wanting to move forward and learn more. He has also complained about her lack of discipline within the class and also her disciplining of students unjustly. He raves about all of his other teachers of being stimulating and interesting. As far as their safety is concerned I have not had a concern since they entered the school a few years ago. Parkway inforces strict policies on expected conduct of students and all teachers/staff inforce their policies.

Parkway has always had the best interest of the students first. The program provided for the students is one that will aid them in preparing for the future. Parkway is a well rounded school serving students from 28 different countries and meeting the need of them all. May daughter graduated from Parkway and has gone on to graduate from High School. I will tell anyone that Parkway always strives for excellence.
