I've 3 children who have either attend BBES or are currently at the school and I have been really happy with the level of education they have received / are receiving. The teachers are great and make learning fun for all grades. BBES has a great reading program for kids that need extra support in this area and are quick to identify when extra support may be required. They offer the same support in a writing program also.

I have 2 children in this school and am very happy with it. All the teachers I have encountered are great! From what I see the principal in very envolved and the kids like that. If I have questions or concerns from teachers or office staff the turn around for an answer is always quick. Both kids are learning and loving it.

The teachers here challenge my children and teach beyond the curriculum. My daughter is excelling at math and the teacher is helping her move beyond what is required in her grade. Impressive.

Teachers are great and not afraid to embrace technology to really stay current with the best teaching methodologies and communications. They have great curriculum and great educators. I just wish the district had a different bus company but that's not the school's fault.

I'm really happy with this school. The education my children are getting is quality and they do offer a lot of help when kid's need it. This is so helpful and really helps the children exceed. Of course the school is not perfect but all in all everyone involved with the students including support staff wants your children to succeed!

This school has a wonderful gifted program that is quite challenging. Some teachers are trained and qualified to teach gifted students and the gifted director for the district is exceptional. It is apparent that "gifted" does not mean just learning a higher grade level but learning in a different way. On a different note Since this school hosts the ESL students I wish the school offered foreign language starting in kindergarten.

My daughter has been at the school since it open. I am happy to report that the well rounded education my daughter is receiving has made her enjoy going to school. I love that they still have art music and PE (all week not just once or twice a week). In addition I appreciate the reading program with reading specialists to help students underperforming. My daughter wishes she didn't get better so she could still be with the specialist. The library program for 3rd-6th grade has helped my daughter branch out on her reading. Overall we have been really happy with the school and think she is being pushed appropriately for her level of learning.

Bristol Bay Elementary School is an excellent school despite the fact that their test scores tend to be lower than the rest of the district. The teachers are extremely dedicated to the students. They do an awesome job of bringing low achieving students up to where they need to be. They also do everything within their ability to challenge the high students. The reason the high students are not as challlenged as they should be at times is due to the district policies and lack of a strong gifted program. It has nothing to do with the teachers. Also the lower test scores have NOTHING to do with the teachers and everything to do with the student/parent population. The students that come from a supportive education rich household do very well on test scores. The principal while is very welcoming and personable is not organized and lacks the "go getter" attitude needed for an effective administration. The teachers attend many many outside of the school day events that they are not required to do. Much more than the teachers at the school where I used to teach! All in all BBES is a great school!

I have found that Bristol Bay Elementary school is an outstanding place for my child to receive a well rounded education. The teachers and staff of Bristol Bay are nothing short of excellent and treat each student with the dignity and respect they deserve. Teachers are well versed in the curriculum and provide a challenging environment for student growth. The administration has the leadership skills to welcome ALL students. I am pleased with Bristol Bay Elementary school and would not think of having my child anywhere else.

Not satisfied with the education my child is receiving. My child is in 4th grade and hardly brings home any homework and the homework she does bring is something she could have done in second grade!!! I remember doing multiplication and long division in 4th grade and her class is still doing addition with 3 digit numbers..... REALLY!!! I know she knows multiplication facts because I test her at home. I do think that the teachers are nice but nice isn't going to provide my child with a strong education!!! Very Disappointed!
