The school is okay. im a student there and the other kids that go are very rude... there is a big bulling problem. but other than that the food is fine they don't give a lot of homework and the teachers are nice.

ZGTMMS is a great school. As a mom of 2 who attend this school and a teacher that has been here for 13 years I can say my children as challenged in the classroom and have had many opportunites for athletics and the arts (band visual dance etc) Both my children are AG children have continued to improve as their EOG scale scores can show. A great school is one that students teachers and parents work together help student students learn. As a PTA member and PTA board member I can say we are in need parents to join PTA and be involved in the life of our school! So parents come on in .. you are always welcome! We are waiting for you! Our school and my classroom are always open for any parent who wants to be a part of the process in helping their student achieve!

Zebulon MS is one of the best middle schools in the state of North Carolina.

As my daughter says..."this is a ghetto school." Unless you child is AG (advanced) don't enroll them. If you child is...do him or her a favor and find a decent school.

Zebulon Middle School is one of Eastern Wake County's Educational Secrets. Alot of individuals try to give the school a bad rap but it is a school comprised of dedicated administrators and teachers that are concerned about providing an excellent quality of education for the students. The smaller class sizes have been a plus for our family. As an involved parent with the school I appreciate the openness of the school to allow parental involvement in my child's classroom and activities even at the middle school level. No matter what school you go to one of the major keys to the experience is the parental involvement and the parterships that are formed with the teacher staff parent and student. Eyes have not seen nor ears have not heard about what is on the horizon for ZMS!

I won't say the school is unsatisfactory but it definitely could stand for improvement. There are a handful of teachers who genuinely care about the students but the programs that are offered aren't much of a concern if the student isn't getting the proper education. The district and the commute to this school is ridiculous and I was glad that my child only had to spend one year at this school.

Yes I am a teacher there.. Many do not see the care and work that the teachers do at ZGTMMS. Please know that most spend endless hours to make sure they are doing the best they can do for your child. Some may not appear perfect but many are giving 120 % for the growth of your child. The arts are great and our department works hard to make it that way but all from my perspective have only the best interest in mind for the students.

I can tell by the post with the 5 star review that it was done by a teacher or principle at that school. I know because I work there and what is mentioned is incorrect. I will say that parents do need to be more involved at this school. Atheletics band art music dance are great programs there. However I feel as though there are only a handful of great caring involved teachers there So its hard for the parents to be involved with their childs education and growth when most of the teachers are not. I know this school could be better if they did some in house cleaning as well as the school grounds and buildings.

This school did not challenge my son and was not worth the long commute. ZMS is also lacking in parental involvement.

I am a student. Zebulon middle is a good school and i love the ABCI Grading system with retakes on tests! I think our teachers should show us that they care about our learning and give you tests they KNOW you are ready for! And the softball coach curses at them and chews tobacco! I thought this was a tobacco free school. There are alot of good and bad stuff about this school but they need to improve in some stuff and choose wisely about the people they hire!

Zebulon is a great school where teachers and staff really care about all the students. Parents are welcome to visit anytime. Teachers show personal interest in each student. I really love the magnet status. Students can take advantage of over 200 different magnet elective classes such as piano GPS dance band orchestra stock market math video editing accelerated reading and math computer technology space adventures drama chorus strings and many many more choices. The athletic program is the BEST! The front office and the administrators are extremely helpful. You feel like 'home' whenever you walk into the door.

My daughter was reassigned this year into 7th grade at Zebulon. I had heard some negative things about Zebulon but so far we have been more than pleased. My daughter is doing work beyond grade level and the administration has been very good about moving her up into appropriate classes. The elective choices are great and so far she loves most of her teachers!

My child have just started here and so far so good. It's been over 9 years since any of my children have been in traditional school. I like Charter Schools however we recently learned that he has a learning disability and we were not able to find a charter school that had the resources he needed so we checked out Zebulon Middle and there resources and decided to give it a try. So far I have had nothing but positive interactions with the teachers the principal and staff. I do realize that the year is just beginning so I will come back about mid year and do an updated review.

I think zebulon is a okay school but the atmosphere isnt good because of some of the students but overall the teachers are very nice and great especially brian lesh tammy stout june baker and donnie pearce

My child has been going to Zeb and has been exposed to pot fights in the halls and bomb threats. Yet through all of this I can say the team of Zebulon works very hard to ensure the safety of the children. They have an onsite officer and a team of principals to stamp out the violence. My advice is to keep lines of communication open with your child teachers and friends. Please stay involved in your childs school no matter what his or her age. It really can make a difference.
