Co-marketing FAQ

How does Premier Agent co-marketing work?

From the co-marketing landing page, a Premier Agent can invite a lender to jointly advertise with them. Once the lender confirms, they will immediately start appearing alongside the agent on Zillow and Trulia.

When we connect a Premier Agent to a home shopper who has also requested financing information, we send their contact information directly to a lender the Premier Agent is co-marketing with.

Note the partnership between the agent and the lender is strictly limited to a co-marketing arrangement under which the lender pays Zillow Group to appear in advertising alongside the agent. Within the Premier Agent Co-Marketing Program, lenders may not refer business to agents and agents may not refer business to lenders.

How many lenders can I share marketing costs with?

You can share marketing costs with up to five lenders. In a few areas across Zillow and Trulia, we only show a single lender. In these cases, we determine which lender to show each time based on their relative spend.

For example, if one of your lenders is spending $100 per month, and the other is spending $200 per month, the second lender will appear twice as often.

Does this feature only work for Premier Agents?

Yes, this feature is only available for Premier Agents. If you are interested in becoming a Premier Agent, contact us.

For lenders:

When am I billed for the first time?

Lenders are billed in arrears. After signing up, lenders will be billed on the next upcoming agent bill date; they are not billed upon confirming a request to co-market with a Premier Agent.

Do I get a refund when I cancel Premier Agent Co-Marketing?

When you cancel, the past payment made was for the previous billing cycle. Since this advertising has already been delivered a refund is not available.

Where can I find my invoices/receipts for payments made on Premier Agent Co-Marketing?

You will be delivered a monthly invoice just ahead of your payment date that includes all the pertinent details of the joint advertising you have purchased with a Premier Agent. However, if you miss this email, you will also be able to access this information on the back end of your Zillow profile under "Agent Co-Marketing."

Why was my co-marketing arrangement switched to another profile or taken off Zillow altogether?

If you have multiple profiles, Zillow Group will proactively consolidate them to a single profile with your active NLMS ID.

If you do not enter an active NMLS ID, Zillow Group will make multiple attempts to gather this information. In the cases where a lender is unresponsive, any active joint advertising with Premier Agents will be disconnected and the lender profile will be deactivated.
