Overall experience of buying Stanley Martin is regrettable, if I would have known ahead of the time about the aweful culture of ignoring customers and their concerns practiced at Stanley Martin and thier employees I would not have bought the house and would have saved myself and my family from tremendous frustration. Lack of statsmanship, accountability and poor quality.

The communication throughout the process was inadequate, and the execution of the transfer was substandard. Additionally, the interest rates provided by the preferred lender were excessively high, ranging from 0.75% to 1.0%. The compromises made in the design and construction of premium lots designated for high-quality homes were unsatisfactory. There were significant misalignments in the walls and cabinetry relative to the framework. Issues such as damaged trusses and uneven lumber resulted in improper drywall attachment. The practice of shaving down lumber was particularly concerning, given its poor structural connection. There appeared to be an urgency to complete the house, which led to the oversight of numerous finishing details. Furthermore, communication was consistently insufficient, and critical information pertaining to design options and lot sizes was often not communicated until it was too late. Response times were slow, and several neighbors have voiced their dissatisfaction as well. In summary, this has been the most disappointing home-buying experience I have encountered with a reputable brand.

Pathetic after sales service. No response. So many open items at the time of closing and zero follow up from the builder after the closing was done.
