Greenview Preserve by Veridian Homes

There were some positives about building a home with Veridian. However, there was a huge issue at closing where Veridian’s finance department provided us the incorrect information and when multiple parties reached out to verify the final cost no one got back to us until a few minutes before closing. There is no true apology and they only cared about getting their money. The lack of professionalism was astounding. When we raised the issue with managers, they did not seem to care and acted like it wasn’t their problem. We will never build with Veridian again.

We had a great experience- Jeff was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. We never felt pressured to make decisions and he always made us feel like both of our input was valued. Sarah was our designer and she did a great job. We think it would be more helpful to have multiple in-person sessions with Sarah so we could at least know all the decisions we would need to make and to be able to do the sessions on a weekend would be really helpful. It was hard to take time off for all the meetings with the designer and the walk-throughs. Totally respect you trying to protect weekends for your employees but a small window of time in which we needed to have a 4+ hour session and then walk-throughs was tough. Bill was our builder and he was really down to earth and easy to work with. He made us feel like we could ask any question to him and he always made us feel comfortable. We would have appreciated the option to move our furnace exhaust to somewhere that’s not the patio so we wish they had asked us where we wanted that. We would have moved it to somewhere else if they had asked us. Once we moved in, the only thing that is of note is that Ashley HomeStore came by to replace a dented washer panel and I didn’t know they were coming or that it was being replaced so I would have appreciated a heads up.

We had a very positive experience building with Veridian. From the helpful team at the design center to our responsive personal builder, we felt heard and taken care of throughout the process.
