We have been in the building business for 35 years, and I have never been SO impressed with all the information provided from Eldon homes on our new house.
It was absolutely a wonderful experience building our home.
We purchased a model and I appreciated the fact that there were some changes I could make. Two items I wish would have been handled differently. First, I was told one amount for a change order which was fine, however after the fact, I was told about a restocking fee that was significantly more than anticipated. I was not given an option at that pint to go back to original flooring. The second was in regard to the closing date. The realtor told us we could move up the closing date and three days later it had to be pushed back. At that point I had rescheduled my movers. I ended up having to rent a hotel for two nights because of the moving company couldn't change the dates again.
