Are you looking for a place to escape winter's cold? How about a place you can go back & forth to as you please up to 5 or 6 months during a years time? We've got just what you need! Sarasota Bay RV Park is a seasonal part time park that is located in West Bradenton near the fishing village of Cortez and is right on Sarasota Bay. Conveniently located less than 2 miles to Anna Maria Island (AMI), it is also close to the downtown Bradenton, Longboat Key, Sarasota and Palmetto Communities. Beaches, museums, aquariums, markets, craft shows and many other activities make this a great place to be! Sarasota Bay RV Park is a 3 street park with concrete pads for you to bring your RV down or own a "tie down" unit that stay put, making it convenient for you to leave your belongings so when arrive at your unit, everything is already there. Tie down units are purchased and a 5 or 6 month "fee" is paid for the time you choose to stay. Please refer to the rate sheet I have attached. This includes water, electric and 2x weekly trash pickup. Also includes all amenities offered in the park. You may use your time starting Oct 1 until Sept 30 of the following year. You may use the time as you wish, continuously or intermitently during the year. You will check in and out at the office and they will keep track of your time. Sarasota Bay shares amenities with it's sister park Paradise Bay where residents can live full time. Between the two parks, it makes a great community!! Let's talk amenities: Heated pool & hot tub, Workout room with the latest equipment, Rec Hall with pool tables, Shower Hall with restrooms, Shuffleboard, Pickleball, Library, Waterside Gazebos, Boat ramp and fishing dock access, Kayak access, Horseshoe pits, Bocce Ball, Fully Stocked Workshop and more. Many group activities are also offered: Coffee hour, Wii Bowling, Book Club, Fishing Club, Dances, Music Jam Night, Choir, Euchre, Yoga, Water Aerobics, Kayaking Club, Ladies Friendship Club, Holiday dinners & events, Park wide garage sales & craft shows, Informational events, Pinochle, Golf outings, Ukulele, and these are just some of the group events. The community invites you to take part as much as you like, or you can just relax by the pool and soak in the sun. You can safely walk or ride your bikes around the park. Golf carts are also allowed. There is a fenced boat yard to store boats, trailers, etc and it uses a lock code only for those storing their items. There is a work area if you need a minor boat repair. There is a monthly fee for the storage area. When your unit is not in use you may store a vehicle in your driveway, sorry-no boats though. There is a no pet policy in the SaraBay part of the park. OK, maybe I should say a little about the camper unit! It is a 1982 Camper with a nice lanai added on that has soft touch windows with screens. New paint throughout the cabin, a newer fridge, Gas range, electric heat, LOTS of storage, Shower, new carpet in bedroom and living room and waterproof vinyl in the kitchen & bath. Recently updated backsplash in kitchen as well. Great ceiling air unit-does whole camper! New Shelving in bedroom closet makes lots of storage for clothing. Another small closet for hanging items. Door in bedroom to lanai. Laundry area with stackable large capacity W & D to the back of the lanai with folding table and shelving unit. Blinds throughout lanai. Floor in lanai is ground level. We liked having our dining table in the front of the lanai. Slider door access with steps up to main cabin. Storage shed on back of lanai with lots of shelving and floor area. Room for 2 vehicles in driveway. Although we are not there right now, the unit can be seen as we have friends who will show it. Any questions will need to be directed to us though.
