    Located in the Olympic Heights subdivision in South Austin, this area has expanded substantially since 2010 when I bought the home. Besides the subdivision ammenities like community pool and great large dog parks with ponds, the entire area now has great restaurants and even great neighborhood nightlife nearby at Moontower Saloon and Armadillo Den, which are both fantastic authentic ATX venues to step out and see a live music show and get some great food truck eats. Alot of people describe this area as "the way ATX used to be" before it exploded! The 78748 zip code is one of the highest value-for-dollar zip codes in Austin, TX (check out some YT videos on the subject) due to it's many nearby green spaces, parks, restaurants, nightlife, and proximity to pretty much any retailer you could ask for at Southpark Meadows! About equal distance to both I-35 and Mopac for commuting. Sits on top of a hill so no chance of flooding or flood insurance needed. Great area!
