A high quality restoration of the whole house including a new Vermont slate roof with custom copper flashing details, a standing seam copper roof, some copper gutters and downspouts. A complete repointing of the brick exterior with new steel lintels over the garage and many windows. The original leaded windows were removed and taken to Williams Stained Glass Studio to be rebuilt with a stronger lead alloy. The front side porch was rebuilt and a custom Honduran mahogany railing was installed for appearance and long term durability. The building sewer was relined by Matt Mertz Plumbing to avoid future root issues with the existing old sewer line. The basement foundation block walls were waterproofed and limestone aggregate with drain to a sump pump was installed. A 15 mil vapor block membrane was installed under all new basement and garage concrete flatwork. A new reinforced concrete driveway with a stone retaining wall was installed. The architectural interior details were maintained.
