Get ready for some alliteration – my available home in Covington is so cozy, charming and full of character! It’s nestled high up on a hill in Covington and surrounded by woods on the right, so you have the benefit of being in a very central location while also feeling somewhat “off the grid”. Very safe area/seconds away from the Covington Fire Station. As you can see in the photos, there is a unique parking area that would easily allow 3-4+ cars which is very rare for homes in this Covington. The deck is a 380 square feet wraparound deck with beautiful patio lights and full a city view Fall-Spring. The upstairs loft comes with two spacious walk-in closets which is a huge bonus. You can see the before if you put in the address on Realtor.com. Lastly, below are a few highlights to break out the improvements and changes I’ve made since owning the home, as well as the renovations and updates that were made just before I purchased this house.
Improvements/Updates made by me:
-Added brand new + highly rated Whirpool washer and dryer in the basement
-Added bamboo shades in nearly every room
-Added a garbage and recycling pullout system in a cabinet
-Painted the bottom floor off white as it was light blue upon purchase
-Added custom-made crown molding in the dining room
-Made upholstered bench seat with storage for dining seating or just a cozy window
-Updated the handles, sink, mirror, etc. in the bathroom to be black versus stainless steel
-Stained the entire deck
-Completely redid the perennial garden + several other areas in the yard so you’ll automatically have beautiful blooms May-October (see last photo which shows what was planted as they’re not currently in bloom)
-Added beautiful rocks to the left of the deck for aesthetic purposes and less grass to cut
-Added white picket fence in front for animal lovers and/or people with children (fence material will never require painting
-Added gates to the deck so it can be fully closed off for pets and/or children
-Installed poles in the deck for the patio Edison-style string lights
Renovations made by previous owner in 2022:
-Fully renovated kitchen with brand new appliances + a gas stove
-New furnace/system
-Brand new hot water heater
-Egress window added to allow for potential renovation in lower level such as adding another bedroom and bathroom (for code purposes)
-Installed two Anderson storm doors with optional screens

What the owner loves about this home
I love the whimsical, private and safe feel as well as having such friendly neighbors. My favorite areas/parts of the home are the deck as well as all of the character - such as the arched doorways, the built in shelf in the hallway and the gorgeous wraparound deck. Also worth noting - while the basement is unfinished, it is very clean, full of space and comes with an industrial table that I have used quite a bit for many projects. It also doesn't have the typical steep stairs that a lot of older homes do in this area. I'm so sad to see it go but am only selling to take the next step in my relationship :).
