People say it's possible to get lost in this home given the size and multiple degrees of separation. You can work in a home office peacefully, children have multiple areas upstairs and downstairs to play loudly, the outside swimming pool and decks, Jacuzzi and basketball court allow for endless recreation and entertaining possibilities. Extremely private. The large nearly new heater on the pool easily doubles and sometimes triples the swimming season (we left it open all year once). Very close to shopping (1.3 miles west of highway 37 at 3rd St exit) - yet feels out of the city. Ivy Tech is almost right across the street. A large pond directly behind separates this property from the newer Beazer developed Stone Crest subdivision - yet within easy walk to trails and trick-or-treating and such. Bloomington paved trail at end of street goes to Karst Farm Park in one direction and the new Northwest YMCA in the other direction. We had 30 chickens a while back in the nice enclosed chicken coop which is well separated from the back yard pool area. Approximately 2 dozen organic eggs produced every day. Fun for the children as well. We hold family reunions every year and have entertained 150 people comfortably on occasion. We also have multiple raised gardens in the very back near the chicken coop area. Fruit bearing trees (apple, cherry, peach, pear and mulberry) along with blueberry, raspberry and blackberry, red and black currant bushes.
