Nestled in the lush & quiet Broadview neighborhood in the NW corner of Seattle, you will find our little slice of heaven. We are close enough to all of the amenities & major arteries, but when you are in the home you could imagine that you are further out as most of what you see is trees & plants.
We built this architect-designed 729 SF cottage (On a 4400 SF back lot) ourselves over the course of 5 years and moved into the place in 2018. Since then we have continued making improvements to the home & property. We love this place very much, and it shows.

*Note that use of the shipman's ladder to the loft & loft itself is at your discretion and we are not liable for any injury from use of the ladder. It is well-built and has nice handrails, but it is not a standard staircase so must be used with caution.
The exterior offers 2-3 dedicated off-street parking spots, a level 2 EV charger (Shared with main house), carport, hardscaped walkway/patio, 5-person hot tub (Maintained mainly by ozone, only needs shock after use), new fencing, lots of pretty plants and trees (Helps if you are a green thumb or at least can take care of the plants), fenced lawn, chipped/fenced dog run out back with plenty of space for fetch, landscape lighting, and more.
*PLEASE READ: The home is on a 4400 SF lot, which is half of what used to be a single family lot. We built the place as a backyard cottage and then divided the lot legally and purchased this half. There is a 7' fence between the lots for privacy, and my aunt lives in the front house. She is very nice and has a few small dogs that can bark sometimes, but only for a few minutes and then she recalls them. There is plenty of privacy, but you need to keep in mind that you are on a shared lot. This means keeping your dogs (If you have them) only in the dog run out back for space between your dogs and my aunt's at the fence line and to keep the front lawn nice, and other common courtesies. Really it's not any different from the typical courtesies of any urban neighborhood. If you need tons of space or party a lot, this is probably not the place for you. If you are chill and courteous, party every once in a while, and like a smaller house on a smaller lot, all good!
You will be within walking distance of several restaurants, coffee, beer/cider, and the lovely walking trail at Llandover Woods. The neighborhood is close to the Puget Sound, Carkeek Park, and it is a great walking neighborhood. You will be about 10 minutes from the highway and light rail corridor, and about 30 minutes north of downtown by car.
Lease term is negotiable, min 6 months. We love and welcome all dogs, but please no persistent/annoying barkers.
The house can be rented furnished as well.
