Although the core of the house was a Craftsman bungalow design of 92 years ago, it was remodeled/expanded twice: Most of the front porch was removed to expand the living area and foyer to be extended to the north; a small side porch was retained for the front entrance to what is now a sort of small vestibule to the foyer. Additionally, the rear porch was enclosed to create a sunroom, and a second story was added for the master bedroom/bath, small artist's studio, and huge finished attic. Beautiful slate floor extends from butler's pantry through kitchen and throughout sun room. Except for tile floors in bathrooms and foyer/vestibule, all floors have hardwoods.
